Osun: Iree Community Leader Lauds Adeleke on Foreign Investment

Iree community leader and obaship candidate in Osun State, Prince Afolabi Ali, has lauded various moves by Governor Ademola Adeleke to industrialise the state.

Prince Ali, in a statement issued on Wednesday, applauded Adeleke for travelling abroad to bring serious investors to establish industries in Osun communities and through that, reduce unemployment; especially among the youth.

Welcoming the governor back after his one-month sojourn in Thailand and other countries, Prince Ali said while the governor took his deserved rest, he also took time to invite potential investors, knowing the needs of Osun people.

“We, especially the Iree people, welcome back His Excellency, Governor Jackson Ademola Adeleke from his foreign tours of Thailand and other countries, where he went to take his deserved rest and woo potential investors to our dear Osun State.

“We have absolute confidence in his leadership qualities and have a strong belief in his assurance that he had contacted potential investors, whose inputs will take many of our youths out of the employment market,” Prince Ali enthused.

He, however, urged the governor to consider far-reaching industrial potentials as they apply to Iree community in Boripe North Local Government area, stressing that the community is blessed with abundant mineral resources, which are still untapped.

” Here in Iree and adjourning communities, we are blessed with gold, granite, columbite, talc, tantalite and tourmaline, with human resources among the youth population that can achieve the common dream of the state government and prospective investors, ” Ali prodded.

The candidate to the vacant stool of Aree of Iree also applauded the governor for the various infrastructural works he had embarked upon, in just one year of assuming office.

He specifically cited the construction of 20-kilometer road networks, various electrification projects, building of 323 water projects, and the rehabilitation of 31 public schools, as a few mention of the several laudable achievements of the governor.
