There is No Division in Benue APC’
George Okoh in Makurdi
The Benue State Governor Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia has said that there is no window for anyone to divide the All Progressives Congress (APC) rank in the state.
Govenor Alia said this at the flag off of the third phase of distribution of palliative held at the secretariat of the State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) yesterday.
He maintained that anyone who wanted to toy with this administration would be tagged “enemy of the state” and people of the state would not give that person(s) the window to do so at all.
He added that those who seek to destabilise his administration, should have it on good authority from him that he has come to work as governor of the state.
“I have truly come to work. So, people of the state should expect greater things ahead in 2023. Let us remain on the same page. APC has come to bring succor and ensure that everyone enjoy the benefits of democracy.
“APC welcomes everyone and we will continue to stretch out our hands to other parties to come and join us to take the state to heights. I don’t want anyone to grumble because we are here to serve you.
“Greater things are coming in the new year. In this phase of the palliative of grains, rice and maize, we have 21 trucks for maize and 35 trucks for rice. This will reach out to the 278 council wards of the state.
“The palliatives will reach out to civil servants, primary and secondary school teachers, traditional rulers, trade unions, okada and Keke riders, political stakeholders, people with disability, support groups will be beneficiaries. It is devoid of political or religious affiliation. We remain grateful to the federal government.
“Nigeria is wired for greatness and this is the time to activate the greatness even in the state,” Alia stated.
