His strategic oversight has consistently led to the achievement and surpassing of rollout targets, including the successful implementation of the FY2022 plan, featuring the largest number of new site builds in over five years.

In his role, Chinedu ensures that MTN Nigeria’s radio network design and optimization strategies meet the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI) standards for GSM network design. His initiatives have significantly improved network traffic handling capabilities, enhanced operational efficiency, and boosted revenue generation. Before his current role, Chinedu served as the Manager of Radio Frequency Planning for the East Region at MTN Nigeria from May 2017 to January 2022. His critical oversight in reviewing high-level BTS site designs, monitoring network performance, and ensuring compliance with best practices resulted in substantial improvements in network performance and capacity, particularly in key markets and universities.

Chinedu’s extensive career also includes positions as Radio Frequency Planning Engineer for the Lagos Region at MTN Nigeria, Team Lead for Radio Network Optimization at Alcatel-Lucent, Senior Radio Network Optimization Engineer at Alcatel-Lucent, and roles at Vmobile Networks (now Airtel Nigeria) and RelTel (Zoom Mobile) Communications Ltd. His work has consistently demonstrated his versatility and technical acumen in radio frequency planning.

At Alcatel-Lucent, Chinedu managed technical activities for 2G and 3G networks, optimized network performance, and led significant projects like the Vodafone Ghana project and Reliance Telecoms India Project, achieving notable improvements in key performance indicators.
