Temitope Ajibola Get White House Invite On Issues Affecting Underserved Communities

Temitope Ajibola, a US based Nigerian entrepreneur, was among the few men of colour who were privileged to join the US Vice President, Kamala Harris, to participate in a listening session to discuss issues affecting underserved Communities in United State of America.

According to a press statement, Ajibola, said the event, held earlier in the year at the White House, got his nomination based on his strong leadership engagements within the Morgan State University Student Community.

Explaining further, he said, the session allowed participants to discuss opportunities and challenges facing the community of color in United States.

He said – “We discussed extensively on issues that bother on economic challenges, mental health, racial injustice, cleantech and opportunities for collaboration.”

Ajibola also disclosed that as a leader passionate about entrepreneurship and it’s role in liberating communities, he mentioned to the office of the US Vice President, the critical issues surrounding access to capital and supporting structures, for entrepreneurs of colour and hopes those issues will be addressed soonest.

He mentioned that the greatest benefits of their community would be from the participation of all stakeholders. He further expressed gratitude to the United States, Vice President, Kamala Harris, for her commitment to communities of colour as well as to the the Morgan State University for the invite.

Ajibola currently resides in the United States. has benefited from two scholarships. He is a recent MBA graduate from Morgan State University and benefited from two scholarships. He was among the top best in his class and was privileged to take the valedictorian speech.
