After debuting in Accra and London, Mr Eazi brought his groundbreaking Traveling Art and Music Exhibition ‘The Evil Genius’ to Lagos recently at Windsor Gallery. Inspired by his album of the same title, the first-of-its-kind presentation smoothly blends music and art, taking audiences through a unique and immersive cultural experience that transcends conventional boundaries.
Sponsored by the Glenfiddich Whisky, the opening night had notable names in the entertainment industry including Joeboy, Olisa Adibua, Dennis Osadebe, Iyanya, Ubi Franklin, Bibi Rai, Osi Disiru, and many others in attendance. The debut in Lagos presented guests with a first-time look at Mr Eazi’s highly anticipated art book.
‘The Evil Genius’ collection is a groundbreaking fusion of contemporary African art and music and features 16 unique pieces, each corresponding to a track from the album. With artists from eight African nations contributing, the collection showcases a diverse range of aesthetics and techniques, making it a powerful statement of African creativity and ingenuity.
The art exhibition will continue in Lagos until December 30, and in the coming year, will tour Dubai and Marrakesh.
