At Christmas, Mutual Trust MFBank Supports Less Privilege With Food, Others

One of the top microfinance banks in Abuja, Mutual Trust MFBank Limited organized a one-day feeding initiative as part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) program. This initiative saw the beneficiaries go home with various packs of food and water to celebrate the festive season.

The bank partnered with several locals to identify families and individuals in need thereby making the initiative a success.

Speaking at the event, the MD/CEO, of Mutual Trust MFBank Limited, Josh Oyebisi, described the Feeding Initiative project as part of the bank’s Corporate Social Responsibility to give back to the community.

“The Mutual Trust MFBank Feeding Initiative is a CSR initiative that seeks to support the vulnerable and alleviate hunger in society, especially in this festive season.”

He said. “We hope that this initiative will help to make a difference in the lives of the people who are struggling to feed themselves and their families.”

The bank’s feeding initiative has been praised by local community leaders and beneficiaries which include widows, children, and elderly men.

On his part, the Chief Corporate Services Officer, of Mutual Trust MFBank Limited, Gbenga Adetola, said that the initiative is a much-needed service to humanity. “There are many people who are struggling to put food on the table to celebrate the festive season.”

“The bank’s feeding initiative is just one of the ways that the bank is giving back to the community. The bank also supports several other charitable organizations, including schools, hospitals, and orphanages.”
