ISN Medical shares gifts with Orphanage at Yuletide in Lagos

As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), ISN medical has treated children of Bales of Mercy Orphanage, Shomolu, to a Yuletide party.

The event, held in Lagos, is a yearly practice and featured games, talent show, singing, dancing competition and quiz, with Santa Claus presenting gifts to the children and their caregivers.
Also presented to the orphanage were bunk beds, mattresses, pillows, clothings, and food items.

Speaking, Managing Director, ISN, Felix Ofungwu, noted that the visitation was a blessing to him and his team, seeing how happy and healthy the children fared, adding that it was necessary to celebrate the children and caregivers as a way of giving back to the society.

He said: “We are happy to be here and we are grateful to the orphanage for allowing ISN to celebrate this season with them. We happy to put smiles on the faces of the children. This is our way of showing love and giving back to the society.”

On her part, Director of Finance, ISN, Chinyere Nwokolo, assured the management of the Home that the company would be visiting them intermittently to check on the well-being of the children.
Speaking on the choice of gifts, ISN Quality Assurance Officer, Jumoke Truscott, said when the company’s Community Service team first visited the Home, it was discovered that some of the beds were too small for the kids.

“The team thought that this might deprive the children of good sleep, so we decided to get befitting beds for them.”

Founder of Bales of Mercy Orphanage Home, Mrs. Ngozi Igbokwe thanked ISN Medical for their visit and gifts.

“What you have done expresses a true heart of kindness. If we have more people like you around, the world will be a better place because there would be less evil in the society and kids would not have to live in fear.”

She also encouraged the management of ISN Medical to adopt them as a family and continue to look out for the good of the home.
