Why I Changed My Name, by Rich Darlington
Rising star, Darlington Edosa Braimoh, professionally known as Rich Darlington has announced a change of name on his social media platforms.
The talented singer informed his fans worldwide that he would no longer be referred to as ‘Rich Darlington’ but ‘Reechdee.’
However in an exclusive chat with The ThisDay he shared his reasons for changing his name, he said: “I decided to change my name from Rich Darlington to Reechdee for easy recognition and pronunciation so that my fans can easily locate me”.
Speaking further on his decision and also if his record label supported his decision he said “Yes I am under a label, Akvyb Entertainment and they are in full support of my decision” said Reechdee.
The Afro-pop singer who is also a producer and songwriter also seized the opportunity to update his fans on his forthcoming single.
“I have my first single ‘El Chappo’ featuring Ice Prince produced by Rhedi dropping on the 5th of January 2024. I will be dropping a lot of projects and collaborations with Nigeria Afrobeat A-list artists, my fans should watch out” he said.
