Defence Chief: God Will Judge Terror Sponsors, Collaborators
*Warns bandits to desist from evil work or face consequence

The Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), General Christopher Musa, has lampooned terror sponsors and collaborators even as he restated the commitment of the Armed Forces of Nigeria to contain insurgency in the country.
He warned that God is watching those profiteering with innocent blood.
He warned “bandits trading with human lives to desist from such act for God will judge them and when they are caught, they will face the consequence, stressing that they must pay dearly for the innocent blood killed.
“For collaborators, any profit you are making with innocent blood, you will pay for it dearly because our God is watching you”, he said.
General Musa made the assertion and commendation during the investiture of the newly promoted senior officers at Defence Headquarters in Abuja.
He commended the eight newly promoted officers for their hard work and commitment.
“It is a thing of joy that towards the end of the year for their hard work, they congratulated them especially their wives, who are always there for them”, he said.
General Musa encouraged the officers, who were not promoted not to give up but to keep their hope alive.
The defence chief stressed that the country has witnessed security challenges and their call to duty was to ensure that success is achieved.
He appealed to the bandits trading with human lives to desist from such act for God will judge them and when they are caught, they will face the consequence, stressing that they must pay dearly for the innocent blood killed.
General Musa called on the members of the public to assist the military and other security agencies with timely information.
He affirmed that “their mandate is to ensure that every Nigerian is safe and secured.”
The defence chief urged the media not to use their mistake to tannish the image of the military thereby demoralising the “troops, who are always awake while we are sleeping”.
He also appealed to opinion leaders to speak unity not division for the growth of the country.
Some of the promoted officers include Captain MJ Salisu, IA Abdu,
Captain IA Abdu, Col HM Abkar among others.
One of the newly promoted officers, Brigadier General Isaiah Lafal, who spoke on behalf of the promoted officers appreciated the defence chief for nurturing them to this greater height and their commanders.
