SGF, Barau, Abass, Oyetola, Others to Attend Post-subsidy Convention in Abuja

The Secretary to the Government of Federation (SGF), Senator George Akume, Deputy Senate President, Senator Jibrin Barau, Speaker of the House of Representatives, Abass Tajudeen, and the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Adegboyega Oyetola, will be taking part at the post subsidy era convention.
The event which will take place in Abuja on January 20, would also have in attendance the Minister of State for Youths, Ayodele Olawande, Chief Economist Development Bank of Nigeria, Professor Joseph Nnanna and other discussants cut across the country.
The convention, organised by El-Mavericky Centre for Educational Research and Development, is tagged: ‘Leading With Compassion and Vision: Charting A New Course in The Post-Subsidy Era’.
The Executive Director of the Centre, Sulayman Nafiu, in a statement made available to THISDAY in Osogbo yesterday, pointed out that the outcome generated from the convention would further assist the government in policy formulation that will spark economic growth in the country.
He said Gombe State Governor, Muhammad Yahaya, Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu, Senator Ajibola Basiru, Comptroller General of Customs, Adewale Adeniyi, Chief Folashade Tinubu-Ojo, amongst other dignitaries would grace the convention.
