Kogi APC Vows to Sanction Members for Working against Party’s Victory

The Kogi State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has vowed to sanction all errant members who worked against the party’s victory in the November 11, 2023, governorship poll in the state.
The party also restated its commitment to reward those who were loyal to the cause of the APC to win the election in the state.
The state Chairman of APC, Mr. Abdullahi Bello, disclosed this when he received the report and commendation of the 11-man committee on the review of November 2023 governorship election in the state.
Bello commended the members of the committee for the job well done, noting that the report and recommendation would be useful to the party.
He stated that the party would look into the report and reward those who worked hard for the success of the party, while those involved in anti-party activities would be punished.
Also, the co-Chairman of the 11-man Committee on the Review Outcome of the 2023 Governorship Election in Kogi State, Mr. Bashir Mohammed Abubarka, while presenting the report to the state Chairman of APC at the party’s secretariat in Lokoja explained that the committee has done its work in line with the party’s directive.
Abubarka, who is also Kogi State Commissioner for Solid Mineral Resources, represented the chairman of the committee and Speaker of the state House of Assembly.
He pointed out that the committee met 10 times in the course of its investigation, adding that its report and recommendations would be useful for the party in future.
APC had on December 5, 2023, inaugurated the 11-man committee to review the performance of the party across the 21 local government areas of the state.
