Irawo Studio Flagship Shop Opening

Abby Ikomi is one of the talented creatives in Nigeria. . She established her fashion brand in 2017 as House of Irawo, and later Irawo Studio was incorporated in 2021 as an Afro-Fusion womenswear brand founded by a family of women for women.
According to her, “We understand the power of communicating individuality through clothing. Clothes are one of the most intimate items next to our skin and as a result, are an extension of our multifaceted and diverse identities.”
She further explained that her creations, “are inspired by everything Nigerian. We blend traditional techniques and fabrics with a contemporary design approach.
“At Irawo Studio we design top quality investment pieces that feature an array of colours and textures that cater to women who are unapologetically blazing their own trail.”
At Irawo Studio they believe in making clothes that you can wear for years. Irawo Studio consistently delivers beautiful African pieces to the doors of women all around the world.
“We love our tribe and that’s why we expanded to a bigger location,” she added.
The new flagship shop was recently opened and the event was to celebrate a new chapter for Irawo Studio which was formerly based at Idejo street, Victoria Island. After almost six years at Victoria Island, the shop has been moved to Osborne, Ikoyi .
This according to Abby, was a journey of empowerment and celebrating individuality through clothing.
She said: “We step into this exciting chapter, we embrace continuous growth, learning, and new opportunities to make our clients radiate like stars, as you know Irawo means stars in Yoruba.”
