Panic As Gas Explosion Rocks Ibadan

A gas plant explosion reportedly shook Ibadan Tuesday evening leaving several surrounding buildings shattered.
The said explosion, which took place around Sango-UI axis, threw the city into pandemonium as many scampered for safety away from the site of the incident.
The thunderous sound of the gas explosion, which was said to have been heard at multiple locations simultaneously, caused panic and confusion among commuters and residents.
White fumes rented the air as efforts from rescue operators hit the fire that had erupted at the scene.
Some of the affected properties included Ace Mall, Bodija; Domino’s, BON Hotel, Bodija Estate Mosque.
There has been no official report on the number of casualties at the time of filing this report but there has been a distress call for help on social media to save lives affected by the unprecedented explosion.
