Asiricomedy holds ‘Humorality’ Retreat, bags Unilag’s Edutainment Award
Thursday, January 11 will go down memory lane as a momentous day when high calibre entertainment stakeholders gathered from all walks of life for a ‘Humorality’ retreat, a capacity building initiative of Damilare Oluwasegun, popularly known as Asiricomedy.
Participants were treated to insightful conversations from renowned speakers ranging from Albert Afolabi. Dare Akinlaja, Gloria Olufeko, Emmanuel Oluwatosin and Derin Jolaosho, among others.
The event also featured a panel session that was graced by industry leaders like Saco, Mc Rhelax, Doctor Frick and Damola. Participants were full of praises at the end of the retreat as they brandished their training certificates, stressing that they had been empowered to thrive by AsiriComedy and his friends.
Speaking about the event, AsiriComedy said, “I have always wanted to impart knowledge and this has become an avenue to do that. I am happy tk make impact and would not be stopping anytime soon”.
Also, on Tuesday, January 16, Asiricomedy was bestowed with an award of excellence by the University of Lagos.
Presenting the edutainment award, the vice chancellor of the university, Professor Folashade Ogunsola described him as a rare breed of creativity. The award was co-presented by a national executive member of the University of Lagos Alumni Association, Mr Olalekan Ajisafe who also lauded Asiricomedy for his creativity and commitment to human capital development.
The award was part of the celebration of the 54th convocation ceremony of the prestigious institution.
