ForbesBLK Welcomes Nigeria’s Petroleum Engineer, Dr Ibrahim Ismaila As Newest Member

2024 did take off on the right note, as ForbesBLK Community welcomed Nigeria’s award-winning petroleum engineer, Dr Ismaila Ibrahim, as its newest member.
The ForbesBLK is a platform that aims to champion a global community of Black entrepreneurs, professionals, leaders and creators who are driving systematic change in business, culture and society.
Thus, owing to the diversity of his experience and his track record in the engineering and marine sectors among others, Ibrahim was officially welcomed on Monday, 15th January this year via email.
Speaking with journalists via chat, the petroleum engineer expressed, “I am truly honoured and humbled to be part of ForbesBLK.
“It is a dream come true for me,” says Ibrahim. “I am utterly grateful for this opportunity.”
While gushing about the latest feather to his hat, he acknowledged the efforts of the team and community leaders. “I hope to make them proud and contribute to this wonderful community.”
As a new page in his career journey, Ibrahim hoped for the best. “I can’t wait to see what the future holds.
“I look forward to connecting with fellow ForbesBLK members, collaborating and learning from one another.”
Revered as a mentor to young Nigerians, Ibrahim is confident that through this platform, he can inspire and empower others to make positive changes in the world.
He emphasised: “I aim to share practical advice and problem-solving experiences to motivate and guide others in similar fields or endeavours.”
Ibrahim is an alumnus of the Petroleum Training Institute in Effurun, Delta State. He is also an alumnus of the University of Port-Harcourt, Rivers. He holds a Master of Business Administration from the Cardiff Metropolitan University, Cardiff, Wales, UK.
Today, he is dubbed an energy influencer and mentor for young people. His groundbreaking impacts and mentorship earned him numerous accolades and recognitions.
First, he clinched the Africa Regional Award for Projects, Facilities and Construction of the Society of Petroleum Engineers, and pulled off The Energy Influencer Award, and The Way Ahead (TWA) Energy Influencers Class of 2021. He also won the Honourary Doctorate of Public Administration Award to his credit.
As a member of the ForbesBLK community, Ibrahim would be able to collaborate with other influential Black leaders from various industries and sectors, share his knowledge and experiences with a broader audience, inspire others to pursue their dreams and make a difference.
The engineer would also have access to resources and support that would enable him to further his work and contribute even more to the field.
By joining the Forbes BLK community, Ibrahim says, “I have rolled up my sleeves to make an even greater impact in the world and help pave the way for future generations of Black leaders.”
And so, with a renewed sense of purpose and determination, he has set forth on his journey, ready to make history and leave an indelible mark on the annals of time.
