Can you walk us through your journey like a personal story or experience that has significantly influenced your career in business development, marketing, and revenue growth?
Growing up in an entrepreneurial family had a profound impact on my career path. From a young age, I was immersed in the world of business, watching my family members start and grow their careers. This experience instilled in me a deep fascination with the business world and a desire to be a part of it.
As I grew older, I found myself naturally gravitating toward roles that involved business development, marketing, and revenue growth within our family’s enterprises. Whether it was coming up with new marketing strategies or finding ways to boost sales, I was always eager to learn and get involved. This hands-on experience allowed me to develop a strong understanding of the key drivers of business success.
After completing my university studies, I knew that I wanted to follow in my family’s footsteps and become an entrepreneur myself. This led me to take on job roles that allowed me to further hone my skills in business development, marketing, and revenue growth. Eventually, I founded my own company which was a significant milestone in my career journey.
Looking back, I can see how my upbringing and early experiences in my family’s business have shaped my approach to business. They’ve taught me the importance of hard work, resilience, and always being open to learning new things.
At the core of my journey is a deep-rooted entrepreneurial spirit that was instilled in me from a young age. It’s this entrepreneurial mindset that has been the driving force behind my success in the business world.
How do you maintain a work-life balance while excelling in the dynamic fields of business development, marketing, and revenue growth?
I balance work and life by creating a detailed daily schedule that allocates time for work tasks, personal activities, and family commitments.
For my work life, I have open and honest conversations with my team and family about my workload and availability. I also seek help when I have an overload.
I have learned to take regular breaks throughout the day to recharge and avoid burnout.
What drives your passion for helping businesses grow and succeed through your expertise in business development, marketing, and revenue growth?
I’m passionate about helping businesses grow and succeed because I find it incredibly rewarding to play a role in their growth and development.
There’s nothing more satisfying than seeing the tangible impact of my efforts on a business’s bottom line. Whether it’s through boosting sales, expanding their customer base, or elevating their brand, being able to point to measurable improvements is incredibly motivating. I love the challenge of analysing a company’s needs, crafting a strategic plan, and then executing it to drive real business results.
I believe that many businesses just need the right guidance, tools, and strategies to unlock their untapped potential. And I like to walk with them in their transformation.
Can you discuss a challenging moment in your life or career that tested your resilience and problem-solving skills, and how you overcame it?
Early in my career, I faced a significant challenge that tested my resilience and problem-solving skills. I was working on an important project for a key client, but it had fallen behind schedule due to some unexpected technical issues. The pressure was on to fix the problems and get the project back on track quickly.
The first step I took was to gather a team of my most capable colleagues with diverse skills and experience to tackle the issues head-on; I knew that I couldn’t solve this problem alone.
However, as the project fell further behind, the client became increasingly anxious and the pressure mounted. It would have been easy to panic or become overwhelmed, but I knew that maintaining a calm, focused approach was crucial. I regularly checked in on the team to ensure we were making progress and addressing any roadblocks.
Most importantly, I kept the client informed about the challenges we were facing and the steps we were taking to resolve them, just to maintain their trust and confidence in our ability to deliver.
How do you see your personal values reflected in your approach to business development, marketing strategies, and driving revenue growth for companies?
I prioritise my personal values of integrity, innovation, and collaboration to shape my approach. I believe in honest communication, thinking outside the box, and working closely with teams to achieve growth.

How do you continue to learn and grow personally while excelling in the dynamic field of business development and marketing?
It’s a top priority for me to continuously learn and grow to stay ahead of industry trends and excel in my career.
I take online courses, attend workshops, and engage in webinars to expand my knowledge and skills as the industry evolves. I follow industry-relevant publications through my social media accounts and follow blogs, and podcasts to stay informed about the latest developments, best practices, and emerging technologies.
Another way I discover new ideas is to attend local and national conferences and network with liked minds.
What is your vision for the future of tech companies, especially SMEs and startups, and how does your knowledge contribute to this vision?
My vision for the future of tech companies, especially small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and startups, is one of thriving innovation, strategic growth, and digital excellence. In the rapidly evolving digital economy, I believe these companies have immense potential to drive progress and shape the technological landscape of tomorrow.
SMEs and startups are the lifeblood of the tech industry. My vision is to see these companies equipped with the necessary tools, resources, and support to navigate the complexities of the digital world.
Your passion and vision for supporting SMEs and tech startups are evident in your two published books. What inspired you to take on the challenge of writing and publishing these works?
The rapid pace of change and the growing challenges faced by businesses in the IT sector were key inspirations behind my decision to write these books. The digital transformation sweeping across industries has created a pressing need for companies, especially SMEs and startups, to adapt and leverage emerging technologies.
I wanted to share my valuable insights and practical strategies with my target audience and empower businesses to navigate the complex digital landscape effectively.
