OPPO Redefines Innovation with Launch of Reno 11 5G Smartphone

OPPO, last week, launched its Reno 11 5G smartphone at an event in Lagos that marked a significant moment in the smartphone industry, where it showcased its latest flagship device, promising to redefine the smartphone experience for users worldwide.

The launch event, organised by OPPO’s Marketing Manager, Folashade Omonijo, showcased the brand’s unwavering commitment to pushing the boundaries of innovation. Omonijo expressed gratitude for the continuous support, highlighting OPPO’s journey in delivering exceptional experiences through cutting-edge devices.

OPPO’s Product Training Manager, Stephen Aiyeloja, who introduced the Reno 11 sleek design and its key features, said the smartphone weighs as low as 182g and comes with a 3D curved design that enhances customers’ experience.

“Designed for an unparalleled cinematic experience, the Reno 11 boasts a remarkable 120Hz refresh rate, ensuring a premium 3D viewing experience,” Aiyeloja said, while showcasing the device’s expansive 6.7-inch borderless display, offering a 93 per cent screen-to-body ratio and over one billion colours, perfect for movie enthusiasts and photo editing aficionados.

According to Aiyeloja, one of the standout features of the OPPO Reno 11 5G is the camera prowess, featuring a nine-camera setup with a 32MP telephoto portrait camera capturing an impressive 60% more light. Aiyeloja emphasised the smartphone’s ability to deliver clear, professional-quality photos even in challenging low-light conditions, based on smart noise reduction. The presentation underscored OPPO’s collaboration with professionals worldwide, promising DSLR-like results in portrait photography.

Giving further details of the smartphone, Omonijo said: “Reno 11 5G is not just your regular product, it welcomes you to a new era of mobile photography, boasting of a new state-of-the-art camera system, capturing life’s moments with breathtaking clarity and precision.
