Dryft Launches APP for Tricycle, Shuttles, Buses in Lagos

Dryft is set to launch its innovative transportation system, featuring classic tricycles known as “Keke” and other forms of transportation for local and inter-state journeys.

Dryft, a subsidiary of Global LinkForce, established in the US in 2018 and officially registered in Nigeria in 2023, initially operated as a shipping company specializing in international and local cargo and freight services.

The company has evolved to develop the innovative transportation system, Dryft, leveraging technology to provide solutions across different sectors.

According to the founder, Olayinka Sonuga, he shared insights on the company’s evolution, stating, “The company’s portfolio includes INNOVZN, a subsidiary of Global Linkforce that handles R&D, Business Solutions, and Deployment. Some of our products include Toolio, Woxhive, and Dryft, each contributing to the organization’s multifaceted approach to problem-solving. Users can participate by downloading the Dryft Rider or Pilot apps for riders and drivers, respectively, via the App Store and Google Play Store.”

Elaborating on Dryft’s approach, Sonuga emphasized, “By incorporating Keke Napep and shuttle bus services alongside traditional ride options, Dryft ensures users have a variety of affordable transportation choices tailored to their needs. This integration allows us to cater to a wider range of passengers, including those seeking economical and efficient travel options for short distances.”

Discussing the target audience, he added, “At Dryft, our focus extends to a diverse range of individuals and businesses with varying transportation and logistical needs. Specifically, we cater to students, providing shuttle services within school premises, ensuring convenient and reliable transportation options. We also serve estate and community residents, offering access to Keke Napep and shuttle buses for short-distance journeys. For inter-city travelers seeking luxury and comfort, Dryft provides inter-city rides.”

The Dryft apps are readily accessible on the Google Play Store and App Store. Prospective drivers can utilize the Dryft Pilot app, while riders can seamlessly engage with the service through the Dryft Rider app. Presently, Dryft is operational exclusively in Lagos, offering its innovative transportation solutions to meet the diverse needs of the local community. As the platform expands, it aims to provide accessible, affordable, and reliable transportation options beyond its current scope.
