Tek Experts, Cytek to Boost Managed Security Service in Nigeria, W/Africa

Tek Experts, a leading global provider of technical talent solutions, in collaboration with its sister company Cytek Security, has announced the opening of their new cutting-edge Security Operations Centre (SOC) in Lagos, focused on providing advanced cybersecurity services for global businesses across industries.

Designed to boost managed security service in Nigeria and other West African countries, the SOC will collaborate with organisations and government agencies to address cybersecurity issues, especially at a time when cybersecurity risks are high, occasioned by the massive movement of businesses to the cloud.

Giving details of the centre during his presentation at the launch of the Security Operations Centre, Head, Executive Sales and Business Development at Tek Experts, Mr. Adewale Adeyemi, said with the launch of the Security Operations Centre, Cytek would be able to handle investigation on critical incidents and also carry out threat hunting and testing in organisations, while the organisation’s Information Technology (IT) department, would concentrate on detecting cyber threats within the organisation’s network.  

Fielding questions from journalists during the inauguration of the Security Operations Centre, Country Director for Tek Experts Nigeria, Mr. Olugbolahan Olusanya, said: “The establishment of our SOC represents a major milestone, reinforcing our commitment to bolstering the Nigerian and West African technology sectors. The Security Operations Center is operated by a team of cybersecurity experts and delivers a full suite of cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions, providing round-the-clock protection from cyberattacks and facilitates proactive containment through response plans developed in collaboration with clients.
