VP Shettima Loses Step Mother

Vice President Kashim Shettima in the early hours of Thursday lost his step mother, Hajja Hauwa Abba Kormi.

According to a statement issued by media assistant to the Vice President, Stanley Nkwocha, Hajja Kormi who died after a prolonged illness at the age of 69, left behind five children, many step children and grandchildren.

The Janaiza scheduled for 4:00 pm on Thursday took place at Shettimari, Lawan Bukar, Maiduguri, Borno State.
