Family announces postponement of funeral for former Ohanaeze chieftain, Ebigwei

In a heartrending twist of fate, the previously anticipated funeral service for the late Chief Dr. Sylvan Ebigwei (MON) has been postponed.

This decision follows a court order compelling all concerned parties to maintain the status quo. The new date, according to the family, would be revealed in due course.

A press statement signed by family member Augustine Ebigwei reads “We extend our sincere apologies for any inconvenience this unforeseen delay may have caused. The Ebigwei family and the resilient Okpanam Kingdom community express profound gratitude for your unwavering support and heartfelt condolences during this trying period.
