Tinubu Hosts Super Eagles, Confers MON on Players

* Gives each footballer flat, land in FCT

President Bola Tinubu has received in audience members of the Super Eagles team that won silver in the just concluded African Cup of Nations (AFCON) football tournament in Abidjan, Cote D’Ivoire.

At the reception held at the Council Chambers of the State House, the president announced the award of the Member of the Order of the Niger (MON) honour on each of the footballers who were all decked in green dress.

According to President Tinubu, the players are also to be given a flat and a plot of land each at the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), which is to be facilitated immediately by the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike.
