Atunlo Sustainability, Technologies Celebrates Environmental Innovation, Community Impact

Atunlo is proud to announce its remarkable achievements for the year 2023, under the visionary leadership of CEO Anita Odiete and Chief Operating Officer, Ayo Ogunlowo.

Atunlo has significantly contributed to environmental preservation and community development.

In a statement, it was noted that since its launch in June 2023, Atunlo has collected a staggering 15,581,650 Polyethene Terephthalate (PET) bottles weigh over 311,633 kilograms.

The statement also noted that the milestone underscores the company’s commitment to combating plastic pollution and fostering a circular economy.

The statement remarked that the company has also made significant strides in Polypropylene (PP) plastic collection, with a total of 28,778 kilograms gathered throughout the year, furthering its mission to reduce the environmental impact of plastic waste.

The statement remarked that Atunlo’s innovative Green Club initiative has sensitized over 3,100 children, instilling the values of environmental stewardship and sustainable living in the next generation.

The statement added that this educational outreach is part of the company’s long-term strategy to build a more informed and responsible society.

In its dedication to social sustainability, it has created over 400 jobs in the community, providing not only employment but also training and development opportunities that empower individuals and promote economic growth.
A total of ₦60,925,660 has been disbursed to individuals for collection efforts, illustrating Atunlo’s commitment to inclusive growth and the economic empowerment of waste collectors.
