NANS lauds JAMB Registrar for donating free forms to persons with disabilities
The President of the National Association of Nigerian Students, NANS, Comrade Lucky Emonefe has commended the efforts of the JAMB Registrar, Ishaq Oloyede for giving out free forms to persons with disabilities in the country.
Emonefe who spoke during a courtesy visit to President Bola Tinubu at the presidential villa said what the JAMB Registrar has done has really shown his love for quality education among all categories of persons.
He commended Professor Is-haq Oloyede for his sterling leadership qualities with integrity, most especially the recent initiative of free UTME registration for People Living with Disabilities among other laudable feats he has achieved within his short stay in office.
Emonefe said the high remittance by JAMB to the National coffers has shown his high level of integrity and openess.
He urged other government appointees in the eeducation sector to emulate the exemplary leadership qualities exhibited by Professor Oloyede in order to ensure that no individual willing to learn is left behind in terms of access to education at all levels.
The NANS President also reiterated the students support to the Federal Government Students Loan Bill ( Access to Higher Education) Act 2023.
He said this progressive steps further demonstrated the commitment of Mr President in ensuring access to education by all citizens is a right not a privilege.
” As Nigerian Students, we are happy and highly elated with Mr President progressive decisions so far, which highlighted the premium and importance this administration attached to education as a fundamental tool for national development.
Emonefe also appreciated the leadership and fatherly role being played by the Grand Patron of the National Students Body, Alh. Muhammad Badaru Abubakar, the Minister of Defense and also urged him not to relent in supporting the success of Nigerian Students.
