LPSS Comes Alive for Dolphin Swimming League

The highly anticipated third leg of the season five of Dolphin Swimming League will today come alive at the Lagos Preparatory & Secondary School (LPSS) in Ikoyi, Lagos.

Regarded as Nigeria’s foremost schools swimming tournament, the league is an initiative to grow the sport of swimming from the grassroots to the international level. Organised by Dynaspro Promotions in collaboration with Advanta Interactive with the sole aim of unearthing talents from schools.

The tournament which has continued to grow in each season has provided some of the students and their schools to hone their skills as well as compete with their counterparts at the one-day tournament.

Defending champions in the elementary and secondary categories – St Saviour’s School and Grange School will battle for medals against Atlantic Hall, Greensprings School, Meadow Hall, Lagoon Whitesands, Children International School (CIS), Italian Priory, host – LPSS as well as club like Boken Aquatics.

The tournament has been endorsed by the Nigeria Aquatics Federation as well as Nigeria Olympic Committee (NOC), Nigeria School Sport Federation (NSSF) and Lagos State Swimming Association.
