Can you tell us about your background and experience in the field of management and consulting?
I have nearly two decades of management and leadership experience in various industries, including FMCG, Consumer Durable, Health Management, Insurance, and Management Consulting. This diverse background and exposure have equipped me with a deep understanding of different sectors and industries, allowing me to bring a unique perspective to my work.
Technology has a pivotal role to play in all sectors, contributing to achieving rapid development. As an expert, how do you think technology has impacted major sectors like health management, insurance and management consulting?
There are success stories to tell about the role technology is playing across all sectors and we are still exploring and following the trends. Technology has, with evidence, played a pivotal role in sectors like health management, insurance and management consulting among others, contributing to rapid development. In health management, it facilitates efficient healthcare delivery and data management. In insurance, technology enhances risk assessment and customer service. In management consulting, it aids data analysis, strategy development and decision-making.
Focusing on management consulting, how has technology helped to reshape the sector?
Technology has significantly reshaped the management consulting sector by enabling remote management consulting. Virtual collaboration tools, data analytics platforms and online communication have facilitated seamless interactions, breaking geographical barriers and allowing consultants to work remotely.
As an expert, do you think relying on technology playing management roles gives desirable results?
Relying on technology for management roles can yield desirable results when integrated thoughtfully. Technology enhances efficiency, data-driven decision-making and remote collaboration. However, a balanced approach, combining technological tools with human expertise, is crucial for optimal outcomes.
What are the challenges facing the management consulting sector and what do you think as an expert are practical measures that can be implored to address the challenges?
Challenges in the management consulting sector include adapting to rapidly changing technology, addressing cybersecurity concerns, and maintaining client trust. Practical measures involve continuous training for consultants on emerging technologies, robust cybersecurity protocols, and transparent communication to build and sustain client relationships. Embracing Artificial Intelligence for data analysis and insights can also enhance service delivery.
You’ve been described severally by your peers as a charismatic leader with a “Can-Do” spirit. How do you ignite your project teams and inspire creativity and commitment among team members?
It all starts with setting a high-performance standard for myself and my groups and leading by example. I believe in fostering a culture of optimism and determination, where challenges are viewed as opportunities for growth. I encourage my teams to think outside the box and empower them to take ownership of their work. I believe leaders need to release the eagles in their teams to fly high. It’s about instilling a sense of purpose and passion in what we do. And that’s usually the way I live and lead too.

It’s a combination of factors. First and foremost, it’s about having a vision, a well-defined strategy, and a clear understanding of the market dynamics. I believe in continuous learning and adaptability, which allows me to respond effectively to changing environments. I’d say always be open to learning and adaptability. Embrace challenges as opportunities and surround yourself with a diverse and dynamic team. But also remember that it’s not just about reaching the top but bringing others along with you. Leadership is about inspiring and enabling those around you to reach their full potential.
