CAC Unveils Blueprint, KPIs to Meet N120bn Revenue Target in 2024

The Registrar General/Chief Executive, Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), Mr. Hussaini Magaji, yesterday unveiled the commission’s 2024 blueprint, including a reward policy for staff to enhance productivity and entrench discipline in the system.
Speaking at a one-day strategic leadership retreat for heads of departments, units, and state offices, he said they must all strive to achieve the N120 billion revenue target set for the commission in 2024.
Magaji revealed that the new reward policy would include the best-performing staff in the state office in each quarter of the year, which will also apply to departments and units in the head office.
The CAC boss further said the reward will attract monetary awards and earn marks for the purpose of performance evaluations of the affected staff.
Commenting on the areas of focus for the new management team, the registrar-general announced the introduction of performance targets for each head of state office.
According to him, heads of state offices are required to submit monthly reports on their activities for evaluation, and rollout Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
The CAC boss further charged the heads of departments and state offices to enforce staff discipline and lead by example.
He warned that acts of truancy and absenteeism would attract appropriate disciplinary measures for optimum input and service delivery.
The retreat, witnessed presentations on “Monitoring/Enforcement Way Forward which was delivered by Director Compliance, Justin Biraol as well as “Introduction of Performance Targets with Timelines for State Heads” by Director Human Resources, Olayemi Oyeniyi.
