Creative Journey of Priince Okhihie: From Digital Artist to Masterpiece Creator
Priince Okhihie, a visionary artist, has carved his niche in the realm of digital art.
Born in Delta State and raised in a family of five, with a civil servant father and a businesswoman mother, his upbringing laid the foundation for his artistic endeavors.
After obtaining a Bachelor’s degree from the prestigious University of Benin, he embarked on a journey of self-discovery, ultimately leading him to establish Priince Art International.
Okhihie emphasised, “Through my artwork, I aim to evoke emotions and provoke thought, inviting viewers to contemplate the complexities of the human experience.”
Priince Art International is not just a brand; it’s a manifestation of Priince’s creative ingenuity and entrepreneurial spirit.
Starting his digital art journey full-time in 2016, Okhihie initially found success creating album covers for renowned music artists.
However, it was his transition to crafting exquisite masterpieces for A-list celebrities that propelled him into the spotlight.
From Olu Jacobs and his wife, Joke Silva, down to Funke Akindele and her ex-husband, Priince’s artwork has graced the homes of numerous celebrities, capturing their essence in stunning detail.
But Okhihie’s artistic vision extends beyond celebrity portraits.
Inspired by his desire to create captivating images without leaving his home, Priince Art International offers a unique solution to the modern-day quest for online aesthetics.
In his expression, “Each piece I create tells a story, capturing moments of beauty and resilience amidst life’s challenges”, he notes. Through his “Bathrobe Series.”

Yet, despite his success, Okhihie remains grounded, acknowledging the challenges that come with striving for excellence.
His motto, “Recreating your photo into complete art masterpieces using your face,” encapsulates his commitment to pushing boundaries and surpassing expectations with every project.
While explaining his inspiration, he says, “The inspiration came from when I tried solving my problem of getting to post every day, appear in luxury hotels, cars, expensive outfits with nice pose and background, etc.”
