Osimhen Rescues Napoli from Home Defeat against Barca

Nigerian international, Victor Osimhen equalised Robert Lewandowski’s lead for Barcelona last night as hosts Napoli drew 1-1 to remain in contention to progress to the next Round of the UEFA Champions League. 

The Round of 16 fixture was heading to home defeat for Napoli after Lewandowski  fired the Catalan outfit into the lead on the hour mark.

Pedri’s ball through the legs ofAmir Rrahmani found Lewandowski to  control. He

 turned and drill a low one into the far bottom corner of Napoli keeper from inside the 22 metre box.

But in the 75th minute, Osimhen showed good strength to turn Inigo Martinez round inside the penalty area from a pass by Cameroonian teammate Andre Frank Zambo Anguissa to fire into next from 14 yards. It was his last kick of the ball before he was hauled off for Giovanni Simeone.
