NGE Advises Ododo to Follow Bello’s Footsteps in Provision of Infrastructure

The Nigerian Guild of Editors (NGE) has advised the new administration of Governor Usman Ododo in Kogi State to follow the footsteps of his predecessor, Yahaya Bello, to provide the best infrastructure for the people of state.
The President NGE ,Mr. Eze Anabah gave the advice while speaking at the end of the projects’ tour with the Kogi state government at the Reference Hospital in Okene, at Weekend .
Anabah explained that it is only continuity that can sustain the “good legacies” left behind by Bello, tasking the administration to ensure it sustains all the facilities that have put into use and make sure all the ongoing projects are completed .
Anaba noted that medical tourism has continued to take huge amount of money from the country despite the economic downturn and with facilities everywhere.
The Medical Director of the hospital ,Prof. Solomon Avidemi, explained that the facility provides quality medical services to all and sundry, urging Nigerians to patronise the hospital.
He lauded the Kogi government for investing heavily in science and technology education, noting that the step was a strategy to produce a large number of human resources to tackling the deficiency in emerging science and technology in Nigeria .
Among the projects visited during the tour were: The Muhammadu Buhari Civil Centre , GYB Science Model Secondary School, Adankolo and the Ganaja Junction overhead bridge, all in Lokoja.
They also visited the Confluence University of Science and Technology ,Osara, the 15 kilometres Itakpe Junction, the Federal College of Education, Total township road, among others.
