FG Promotes 819 Senior FRSC Officials

The federal government has approved the promotion of 819 senior officials of the Federal Road Safety Commossion (FRSC) to their next rank.
The Spokesperson of the FRSC, Jonas Agwu, made the disclosure in a statement issued yesterday in Abuja.
Agwu stated that the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Senator George Akume, on February 27, approved the promotion of the 819 senior FRSC officials.
Some of the promoted FRSC officials, he said, included one Deputy Corps Marshal, Muhammed Kabo, who will represent the Northeast geopolitical zone at the management level.
Other are eight corps commanders promoted to assistant corps marshal; 56 deputy corps commanders promoted to corps commanders; and 63 assistant corps commanders promoted to deputy corps commanders.
Also, 10 chief route commanders were promoted to assistant corps commanders; 63 superintendent route commanders were promoted to chief route commanders; 186 route commanders were promoted to superintend route commanders; 86 deputy route commanders were promoted to route commanders and 343 assistant route commanders were promoted to deputy route commanders.
The corps marshal, while reacting to the promotion, said every promotion comes with higher responsibilities, and urged the beneficiaries to put in their best in the new offices.
