The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Denca Services Limited, High Chief Dennis Osadebe Okafor, and Chairman/CEO of Migfo Nigeria Ltd, Chief Mike Nwaukoni, have been nominated for the Kwame Nkrumah Outstanding Leadership and Development Award.

The conferment is scheduled to take place on 16th of March in Lagos, organized by the Kwame Nkrumah Movement in partnership with its Nigerian representative, Monarch International Magazine.

Speaking ahead of the event in a statement shared with journalists, Dr. Felix Okonkwo, Editor-in-Chief of Monarch Intl Magazine, described the process leading to the choice of Chief Osadebe and Mike for the award as rigorous and deserving, noting that it took them a whole year to finalize.

The Dr. Kwame Nkrumah Award was instituted in 1997 by WASU to immortalize the iconic leader and to serve as inspiration for African leaders in exemplary leadership.

Dr Felix described awardees as champions and worthy achievers who have contributed tremendously to public service in Nigeria.

Meanwhile, the statement further stated that there will be investiture of the recipient chiefs with the honour as ” The Platnum Patrons of the Nkame Nkrumah Movement.”
