Gov Oborevwori Promises to Deliver Emevor Road Project Soon
Hails Emorock on speed, quality Delta State governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, has said the ongoing construction of Emevor Road would be completed soon, saying it would boost socio-economic activities in the state.
He also commended Emorock Concept Limited, the company handling the project, for the magnitude of work done so far.
Oborevwori said this during the inspection of the construction/rehabilitation of Emevor- lvrogbo – Orogun Road (Phase 1) at Emevor town, in Isoko North Local Government Area. The project is being executed by Emorock Concept Ltd, a subsidiary of De Wayles Group of Companies.
The governor was accompanied by Charles Aniagwu, Delta State Commissioner for Works (Rural), Solomon Aragba, Director, in the Ministry of Works and other top government functionaries.
In his remarks, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori commended the construction company, describing it as a dependable stakeholder in the drive towards actualization of the MORE Agenda of the state government.
He further said the project would be delivered early, considering the extent of works so far accomplished.
The Governor went further to state that, the organisation has established itself as a reputable entity within Nigeria’s construction sector, consistently delivering projects of exceptional quality and standards, dedicated to excellence, and earning it’s recognition as a reliable partner in the developmental efforts of Delta State.”
The governor expressed his satisfaction with the progress achieved by the company on various aspects of the project, including the deep double drain on the shoulders of the road to ensure free flow of water and promote flood control among others.
He commended ERCL for its unwavering commitment to delivering projects within stipulated timeline while maintaining compliance with highest quality standards.
Oborevwori stressed the importance of collaboration between government and private sector entities in driving sustainable development initiatives across the state.
On his part, HRM Dr. John Holt Ologho, the Odion of Emevor Kingdom, commended
Governor Oborevwori for the project connecting Emevor, lvrogbo and Orogun kingdoms.
He also appealed to the governor to establish a Central Hospital in Emezor to ensure his subjects have access to healthcare.
In response to the Governor’s commendation, ERCL Projects Director, Oghale Agelebe, reaffirmed the company’s commitment to upholding the utmost level of professionalism in the handling and execution of engineering construction activities.
He expressed gratitude to the governor for the confidence reposed in Emo Rock Concept Ltd, reiterating the company’s dedication to contributing to the socio-economic and infrastructural advancement of Delta State.
He noted that the project would be completed in record time.
