The CEO and Lead Tutor of Diction360 Hub, Isibhakhomen Vivien Ofodile, says her organization leverages communication skills to train individuals in diction, public speaking, and social graces
THISDAY reports that the organization started as Sound Hubn (Sound Hub Nigeria) in 2013 but was officially incorporated as Diction360 Hub in 2021.
In an interview with newsmen in Abuja, Ofodile spoke about how her firm had fared since its establishment
She said: “At Diction360 Hub, we are committed to enlightening and assisting individuals develop or upgrade their unique style of communication.
“We train individuals in diction, public speaking, and social graces to improve their communication skills, thereby giving their careers the required boost.”
“Annually, the organisation trains individuals in diction and public speaking online and onsite. This year, the organisation intends to partner with more organisations to enhance communication in the corporate space. Currently, it is collaborating with an organisation of repute to train its staff and teachers using an educational platform.”
On Diction360 Hub’s target for the year, she said: “Our target is to expand our reach and impact educators and individuals interested in upskilling in spoken and written English.
“As a result, Diction360 Hub developed a bouquet of bespoke courses for educators and young professionals in diction and public speaking.”
She also stated that some of the most remarkable achievements and lessons that were learnt from running Diction 360 Hub included: “D360Hub partnering with the National Association of Proprietors of Private Schools (NAPPS) Lagos state chapter to train teachers, also Partnering with TextWorth publishers to train teachers virtually. She stated that it has been rewarding to see participants transform into exceptionally effective communicators, and predominantly, it has been a journey of learning, unlearning, and relearning.”
In conclusion, Ofodile stated, “The best nugget for every aspiring public speaker is to comprehend that the art of communication and public speaking is a skill and every skill can be unlearned, learned and relearned It all begins and ends with one’s adopted unique style of communication.”
