Sam Olu Alo’s Humanitarian Efforts Alleviate Hardship in Some Communities Amid Economic Turmoil
Amidst the economic challenges facing Nigeria, Prophet Sam Olu Alo, founder of Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) Adamimogo Grace of Mercy Prayer Mountain Worldwide, urges Nigerians to extend a helping hand to the less privileged. Recently, he distributed millions worth of rice to various communities in Ido-Osi and Ijero local government areas of Ekiti State, providing sustenance during these trying times.
Olu Alo had expressed that helping the poor at this present time will not only ensure that they have something to eat but also reduce criminal acts to the barest minimum in the society. The cleric who was represented by his personal assistant, Hon. Ayodeji Ogunbusuyi, during the outreach said that “What we are doing is because of the economic condition and hardship people are currently going through in the country. Prophet Olu Alo has deemed it fit to assist the less privileged and the downtrodden in the society especially at the grassroots. He instructed us to get some bags of rice and distribute it to the people across all the towns and communities in Ido-Osi local government area of Ekiti state.”
The gesture, comprising about 200 bags of rice valued at around 15 million naira, aims to alleviate hunger and mitigate the surge in criminal activities resulting from the economic downturn. Represented by his personal assistant, Hon. Ayodeji Ogunbusuyi, Prophet Olu Alo emphasized the importance of assisting those in need, especially during these challenging times, urging well-meaning Nigerians to lend a helping hand to their fellow citizens.
Advising Nigerians, Ogunbusuyi emphasized the dire economic conditions facing many citizens, making it challenging for them to provide for their families. He urged well-to-do individuals who have been blessed by God to extend a helping hand to those in need during this critical period. By offering assistance to those less fortunate, we can collectively work towards building a better society and reducing the prevalence of crime.
Traditional rulers in the beneficiary communities showered encomium on Prophet Olu Alo, acknowledging his consistent support and contributions to community development. Oba Ayorinde Ilori-Faboro, the Olojudo of Ido Faboro-Ekiti, commended the cleric’s philanthropy, describing him as a beacon of hope and a blessing to the community. Similarly, other traditional rulers expressed gratitude for his unwavering commitment to uplifting the less privileged and empowering the youth.
