Finally, Showmax has scheduled March 27 for the premiere of the Real Housewives of Lagos Season 2 reunion. Following a season brimming with enthralling conflicts and unexpected alliances, speculation abounds about the topics that will be addressed and the explosive revelations that will undoubtedly unfold. Will fractured friendships such as that of Toyin Adebayo and Mariam Timmer be repaired, or will fresh conflicts emerge? What will be the fate of Dr Rommel when the Housewives confront him on some of the things he said about Faith Morey?
Steering the ship as the host of the reunion is none other than media personality Latasha Ngwube, whose infectious energy and incisive approach promise to ignite scintillating conversations among the ladies.
“I’m delighted to dive into the fabulous world of excitement and drama these ladies have created,” said Ngwube.
While the show may be in its early stages, Ngwube’s historic appointment as the first female host of the franchise’s reunion show adds an extra layer of excitement to the event.
“Latasha has been a pillar of Nigerian pop culture for many years now, making her the perfect host to spark engaging conversations among the ladies,” said Executive Head of Content and West Africa Channels, MultiChoice, Dr Busola Tejumola. “With her vibrant energy and insightful approach, this reunion is set to be unforgettable.”
The Real Housewives of Lagos Season 2 made its debut exclusively on Showmax in September 2023, shattering first-day streaming records in Nigeria and solidifying its status as the most-watched Original on day one of its local release. The season garnered a coveted nomination for Best Unscripted Series at the 10th edition of the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA).
