Ondo: APC NWC Constitutes Governorship Primary Election Committee

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has set up a nine-member committee headed by its Deputy National Chairman, South, Emma Eneukwu to conduct the governorship primary election in Ondo State.
National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, in a statement said other members of the commission included Festus Fuanter, Victor Giadom, Prof. Abdulkarim Kana, Sulaiman Argungu, Dr. Mary Idele, Durotolu Bankole, Nze Duru, and Morka.
“By a resolution adopted at its 144th meeting held on the 6th of March, 2024, the National Working Committee of our great party constituted a Governorship Primary Election Committee of its members for the smooth running of election processes in Ondo State,” it stated.
Meanwhile, the ruling party has amended the schedule of activities and timetable for the 2024 gubernatorial election in Ondo State.
The party, in a statement by Eneukwu, said the primary election would be held on Saturday, 20th April 2024 as against April 25 earlier announced by the party.
He stressed that the sale of nomination and expression of interest forms, as well as delegate forms would now commence on Wednesday, 27th March 2024 and end on Wednesday, 3rd April , 2024.
The screening of aspirants would be held between Thursday 11th, April 2024 and Friday, 12th 2024, while delegate congress has been scheduled to hold Monday, 15th April 2024.
