Ondo Election: Jimoh Ibrahim Picks Governorship Nomination Form

A top contender in the forthcoming governorship election in Ondo State, Senator Jimoh Ibrahim (representing Ondo South), has picked his expression of interest and nomination forms to contest the governorship primary of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

He picked the forms on Wednesday.

Ibrahim, who is currently in Geneva, Switzerland on National assignment, was represented by the leadership of his governorship campaign committee.

Obtaining the N50 million governorship nomination forms at the national secretariat of the party in Abuja, Ibrahim said with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope agenda, the people of Ondo State had nothing to do with poverty.

Speaking from Geneva, Senator Ibrahim said: “Today I have obtained expression of interest and nomination forms of our party, APC.

“This is a signal that I am indeed ready to change the face of Ondo State in connection with the renewed Hope agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. I will turn around the state.

“Let me state clearly that with connection with the renewed Hope agenda of President Tinubu, Ondo State has nothing to do with poverty.

“I have New Hope Agenda for the people of Ondo State and to enhance the standard of living of our people.

“We are not pretenders, we are visionary and we shall fulfill all our electioneering promises if we are elected into office come November 16, 2024.”
