Koboaccountant Africa’s Internship Program Pumps Out Over 1000 Job-Ready Finance Professionals

Koboaccountant Africa, a leading 360-degree financial technology and services firm, is solidifying its commitment to shaping Africa’s future finance industry. Through its subsidiary, the PnL Academy, they’ve equipped over 1000 interns across 22 African countries with the skills and experience to land jobs.

This impressive feat comes as the fourth cohort of PnL Academy interns prepares to graduate. Speaking on the programme, founder of Koboaccountant Africa, Mr. Ubong Ita expressed “confidence that Africa is poised to become the next global hub for skilled professionals in the rapidly growing services industry.”

The program goes beyond basic accounting. Interns receive comprehensive training in cutting-edge fields like AI for Finance, Investment Analysis, and Blockchain fundamentals. They’ve even completed over 6000 tasks during their internships, gaining valuable hands-on experience.

It’s not just Koboaccountant Africa singing the program’s praises. Graduate Joy Omo-Owa Ohenhen highlights the program’s effectiveness: “The virtual onboarding led by Ubong Ita was inspiring. Collaborating with diverse interns expanded my global finance and tech understanding. Sessions covered teamwork, investment analysis, and tax appreciation, enriched by expert facilitators. Grateful for this transformative journey.”

Koboaccountant Africa remains steadfast in its mission. According to Mr. Ita, they “remain committed to empowering Africa’s finance professionals and driving positive change across the continent,” perfectly aligning with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by creating opportunities for Africans in the global workforce.
