NEXHUB Launches Regional Office In Lagos

In an auspicious occasion for Nigeria’s Export trade landscape, the Nigerian Exporters Hub(an off-shoot of the Nigerian Export Trade House China/ Far-East Region), on Wednesday, April 17, inaugurated its regional office in Lagos.

The event, held at its office Arena located at No. 3, Aromire Avenue, off Obafemi Awolowo Way Ikeja, brought together a host of distinguished guests, government officials, industry captains, Business associations, foreign partners and entrepreneurs to mark the launch.

The ceremony commenced with an opening address by Mr Adamu Adamu Audu, Managing Director of the Nigerian Exporters Hub, who highlighted the significance of NexHub’s expansion and its potential to drive economic growth in the region by facilitating non-oil export.

Among the dignitaries in attendance were the Special Assistant to the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria on Export Expansion, Mr Aliyu Bunu Sheriff, Managing Director NEXIM Bank; Mr Abubakar Abba Bello, a representative of the Honorable Commissioner for Commerce, Cooperatives, Trade, and Investments of Lagos state; Mr Emmanuel Audu Perm. Sec. representing the Honorable Commissioner for Agric Lagos State, members of the Chinese Community, foreign partners from Asia, Presidents and leaders of various Markets and Associations in Lagos, as well as several commercial bank representatives.

“We are thrilled to establish our presence in Lagos, a city renowned for its entrepreneurial spirit and vibrant business community,” said Dr Victor Ayemere, Chairman of the Nigerian Exporters Hub. “The launch of our Lagos regional office underscores our commitment to empowering Nigerian exporters through knowledge and mentorship thereby fostering sustainable economic prosperity.”

The launch of the Nigerian Exporters Hub’s regional office in Lagos is poised to accelerate non-oil activities within the region by guiding exporters on How to export, What to Export, Where to Export and Whom to Export to wherein they are given verified foreign off-takers for their products.

The Special Assistant to the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria on Export Expansion, Mr Aliyu Bunu Sheriff, commended the initiative, emphasizing the government’s commitment to supporting export-oriented businesses.

The Managing Director of NEXIM Bank Mr Abubakar Abba Bello who spoke on “Easy Access to Export Finance” also reiterated the bank’s commitment to finance non-oil exports regardless of the volume or size of the export meaning all Nigerians can feel free to apply for NEXIM Bank’s export finance.
