Olusegun Samuel in Yenagoa
The Bayelsa State House of Assembly has screened and confirmed 13 commissioner-nominees for the State Executive Council.
Although the state Governor, Senator Douye Diri, sent 14 commissioner nominees to the Assembly for screening and confirmation, however, one of the nominees, Mr. Daniel Igali, was absent.
Those screened and confirmed are: Dambo Biriyai, Maxwell Embeleyi Ebibai, Moses Teibowei, Mrs Koku Obiyai, Gentle Epilefa Emelah, Ayibakipreye Brodericks, George Ekpotuatein Flint, and Komuko Akari Kharim.
Others are Perepuighe Biewari, Jones Ebieri, Peter Afagha, Mrs. Bidei Elizabeth and Michael Magbisa.
