NHCC Inaugurates New Office to Promote Economic Benefits

The Nigerian-Hungarian Chamber of Commerce (NHCC) has pledged to foster a cordial business relationship that will bring economic and commercial mutual benefits.
The President of NHCC, Mr. Spencer Onosode , made the pledge and inauguration of the chamber’s Ikoyi office, saying that the opening of the new office was cement the bond between Nigeria and Hungary through sustainable growth in bilateral trade and economic relations.
The new office was inaugurated by the Ambassador of Hungary to Nigeria, His Excellency Endreffy Lorand.
Onosode restated the function of NHCC as the central organisation for collecting, distributing, and disseminating information of a business nature, and providing access to valuable resources, and relationships that help businesses save money and market their products.
He said: “Hungary is a central European country rich in diverse, beautiful landscapes and natural resources. Part of Schengen and European Union (EU).”
“Hungary is an export-oriented market economy with a heavy emphasis on foreign trade.
“Hungary is 21st century compliant in science and technology being an agricultural country. She is well known for technology transfer and of course Education.
“In Nigeria, we find a good number of Hungarian-trained medical doctors amongst our families and friends.
“The Nigerian-Hungarian Chamber of Commerce was created to promote, develop, and facilitate trade and commerce between Nigeria and Hungary. We serve as a commercial bridge between the Hungarian Embassy located in Abuja and businesses in Nigeria.”
“As we operate out of Lagos, the commercial hub of Nigeria, our reach is to bond with any legitimate enterprise that would foster cordial, economic, and commercial mutual benefits to parties of Hungarian and Nigerian origins,” he added.
Onosode emphasised the chamber’s efforts to create business relationships between Hungarian companies in Nigeria and potential Nigerian investors.
“We thrive at making it easy for the Hungarian companies doing business in Nigeria and facilitating Nigerians who intend to do business in Hungary.
“I especially welcome potential new members and pray and hope that your membership of this Chamber of Commerce will fulfill your dreams of partnering with Hungary,” he said.
