MyPayble Revolutionises Financial Landscape for African Micro-Businesses
In the fast-evolving realm of African financial technology, MyPayble emerges as a game-changer, targeting the core of the continent’s economic engine: micro-businesses.
The startup, propelled by a vision to redefine financial interactions, unveils plans to revolutionise how local vendors connect with the global marketplace.
Led by a dynamic team comprising Roosevelt Elias (CEO), Ayooluwa A (CTO), Egy Daniels (COO), and Kevin Ohiro (CME), MyPayble aims to break barriers hindering the growth of micro-businesses.
In a recent discourse, Roosevelt Elias elucidated the company’s mission to empower Africans, irrespective of their location, to actively engage in the global economy.
“MyPayble isn’t just about building a product; it’s about crafting an experience integral to people’s daily lives,” emphasized Elias, drawing from his diverse expertise in Product Design, Technology, and Cyber Security, coupled with personal insights as the son of a serial micro-entrepreneur.
Central to MyPayble’s strategy is its innovative mPOS (mobile point-of-sale) terminals, which seamlessly sync with smartphones, effectively transforming them into point-of-sale devices. Ayooluwa, the head of technology, humorously remarked, “Finally, your phone will bring in revenue!”
These compact terminals are poised to revolutionize transactions for various businesses, including courier riders, taxi drivers, food vendors, transport workers, farmers, and artisans, facilitating effortless acceptance of digital payments while bolstering transaction security and efficiency.
Recognizing the pivotal role of micro-businesses in local economies, the founder asserts, “They are the backbone.” Yet, many remain entrenched in cash-based systems, grappling with the challenges of physical currency in today’s digital age. MyPayble endeavors to facilitate this transition into a cashless future, catalysing transformative change.
The challenges MyPayble addresses transcend local boundaries, encompassing inclusive finance, global market access, and the broader shift toward a cashless economy.
Positioned as a visionary force, the company aims to not only process payments but also catalyse a paradigm shift in Africa’s micro-business landscape, one transaction at a time.
As MyPayble charts its course forward, its vision shines brightly, illuminating the heart of Africa’s economic engine.
Beyond mere startup status, it symbolises a beacon of hope, simplifying financial experiences and fostering seamless connections between local enterprises and the global market.
The founder extends an open invitation to all stakeholders to join in amplifying the transformative influence of MyPayble on the African financial ecosystem.
