Shonukan Yaya Babatunde, known as Hibreed, believes that storytelling is the heart of his music and should be a primary style for Nigerian artists. He emphasizes that storytelling brings depth and energy to his craft. “What makes my music unique is its blend of traditional Afrobeat

I draw from my Nigerian roots while incorporating elements from different cultures and genres I’ve encountered throughout my travels. My storytelling is deeply personal, often reflecting real-life experiences, emotions, and growth,
