Adeleke, Adedeji, Tinubu Bag South West Advancement Award

The Governor of Osun state, Ademola Adeleke, Chairman Federal Inland Revenue, Zacch Adedeji Executive Chairman Federal Inland Revenue, Seyi Tinubu, Senator Solomon Adeola and Prince Olaide Akinremi have emerged as winners of South West Advancement award 2024.

In a statement issued Thursday by the organisers of the event, the awardees emerged after a series of online voting.

It said the result of the voting indicated that Adeleke emerged as Governor of the year, while Adedeji emerged as Public Administrator of the year, whereas Tinubu emerged as the Youth Icon of the year.

Similarly, Parallel Bank was voted as the Bank of the Year, while Adeola emerged as Senator of the year, Akinremi was voted as House of Representative member of the year.

The statement pointed out that the South West Advancement Award and Investment Summit 2024 with the theme; “Unlocking investment opportunities in the South West States” is scheduled to hold on Wednesday 12th June, 2024 at Oriental Hotels, Victoria Island Lagos State.

The award was designed to celebrate outstanding individuals and achievers who have distinguished themselves in their careers in the region.

The award is a reference point in celebrating excellence in public service and accountability would bring together captains of industries, top media executives, politicians, among others.

This year’s event would be the 4th in the series and it is designed to help attract foreign investment to the region.

The Royal Father of the day is His Imperial Majesty Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi Ojaja 11, Ooni of Ife, while Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu is the chief host.
