Adesunmbo Adeoye Inspires, Empowers Women in Agege

The 11th edition of the annual Inspiring Change Conference, convened by esteemed founder; Adesunmbo Adeoye, concluded with resounding success and impactful moments, inspiring and empowering attendees.

The conference, which took place virtually and on-site, attracted women from diverse

backgrounds in business, career, and ministry. Kicking off with a fireside chat on Thursday, March 7th, the honourable Commissioner for Health in Ekiti State, Dr. Banji Filani, engaged participants in a discussion on “Navigating Health Challenges with Confidence.”

Dr. Filani emphasised the importance of prioritising healthy living and maximising government health packages, sparking a trending online discussion under the hashtag #EnormousPossibilities.

Continuing on Saturday, women from Lagos and beyond gathered at the Wisdom Arena in Agege for a day filled with wisdom, inspiration, and networking. The event featured esteemed speakers such as Ayo Megbope and Mayokun Oreofe, who shared personal anecdotes of overcoming challenges to achieve success. Additionally, a lively “Girl Talk” session, moderated by the Convener, featured panellists Financial Jenifer Ariwigwe and Morenike Molehin, encouraging attendees to leverage their skills and consistency for online growth and product development.

In her opening remarks, Convener Adesunmbo Adeoye highlighted the vast opportunities available to women and urged attendees to persevere, citing her recent recognition as the winner of the inaugural Wema Bank She Empowers Her Award. She emphasised the significance of every effort, no matter how small, and rewarded two businesses with cash grants totalling N250,000 each to support their growth.

The conference concluded with a celebration of female entrepreneurship, honouring outstanding entrepreneurs such as Oluwatemilorun Adeola of Oretide Foods and Ifeoluwa Odegbami of the Radiating Women Network, Abeokuta, among others.
