Trade Show With Over 300 Exhibitors Opens June
This year’s Food and Beverage West Africa trade exhibition will be the largest edition yet.
More than 300 exhibitors from around the world will be taking part and the show is expected to attract more than 5,000 industry professionals from the food retailing, hospitality and supply sectors.
Occupying all four halls at the Landmark Centre on Victoria Island, Lagos, the event will feature eleven country pavilions representing Italy, Indonesia, Thailand, Turkey, India, USA, China, Egypt, Dubai, Pakistan, and Russia.
There will also be a local focus with more than 40 local exhibitors featuring in a SME Zone dedicated to Nigerian F&B entrepreneurs.
Organised by BtoB Events, Food & Beverage West Africa 2024 runs from June 11th to 13th.
Now in its fifth edition, it offers visitors the first chance to see new products being launched into Nigeria as well as securing business deals on food and drinks, whether popular and niche.
Brad Smith, Exhibition Manager, says: “We bring the global food and beverage industry to West Africa, with the show consisting of exhibitors from over 40 countries worldwide, spanning five continents and all with incredibly exciting products, looking to do business within the West African market.
“The exhibition will demonstrate a huge range of products from all different F&B categories, many being seen in West Africa for the first time. From confectionery and snacks, FMCG from all over the world, alcohol, energy drinks, coffee and tea, sauces, spices, condiments, meat and poultry, rice, machinery, packaging and equipment, and many, many more.”
Feedback from the 2023 show indicates that 89 per cent of visitors were successful in finding new suppliers for the business.
Attendees recognise that FAB West Africa is the only opportunity for businesses across the world to access the key decision makers from across the African food and beverage industry.
“The efforts of our team behind the scenes to ensure the companies attending will meet the top-level buyers/importers/distributors from across the region is unmatched,” says Mr Smith.
“This is shown by the level of success within the market that companies achieve once they have exhibited at FAB. Simply, there isn’t another platform like FAB West Africa. Here’s to another year of unprecedented success!”
