The Limitless Woman 2024 conference, held in Lagos, emphasized resilience, determination, and the need to push boundaries as the recipe for growth and development for today’s women in Nigeria. Female professionals and creatives were urged to take charge of their journey towards achieving sustainable national growth and development. The conference’s theme, “FlourishHER,” brought together women from different fields, highlighting their formidable influence on nation-building. Women’s empowerment was cited as the foundation for driving innovation, progress, and positive change.
Convener of the Limitless Women Conference, Grace Ofure, believes that women are key to fostering peace, stability, and promoting inclusive prosperity. She, however, called on stakeholders to invest in women’s empowerment. The conference aims to create a platform for women to find valuable insights and resources to foster their all-round development.
“We are building a community of women, not just myself, but you can see that our speakers are very grounded in what they do. I am passionate about women, especially with their finances, education, and growth because it is so important. A woman makes a community and hence a nation,” she added.
According to the immediate past Executive Director of Women in Management, Business, and Public Services (WIMBIZ), Hansatu Adegbite, in the changing economic tides, women need to stay unwavering in their commitment to excellence while always striving to be solution providers, Founder of SheCan Nigeria and Deputy Managing Director, MBR Signature, Ezinne Ezeani, said the conference is a step in the right direction towards helping women realize their limitless potential and boundless opportunities available to them.
“The Limitless Women Conference resonates so much with me because I believe every woman out there can do more. This conference is very transformational. It speaks to me as a woman, it speaks to women out there, that there is nothing that can limit us in achieving any of our dreams,” Ezeani said.
The Chief Executive Officer of U-Connect Human Resources Limited, Omon Odike, affirmed that the conference was intentional about reminding women to go the extra mile in all their endeavours and offering them resources to make huge strides in their careers.
