CIAPS to Host Public Lecture on Corruption

The Commonwealth Institute of Advanced and Professional Studies (CIAPS), will on May 9, host the 2024 Quartey public lecture with the objective of ensuring an interactive discussions and learning.

The event, which will hold at the CIAPS Auditorium for two hours, will kick-off with red carpet and cocktails.

The programme themed, ‘Anatomy of Corruption’, will feature speakers like Fred Nzeakor, a legal and public affairs analyst; Bala Zakka, an accountant, engineer and tax expert; and ICAN District Chairman; Debo Adeniran, a consultant educationist and pioneer Secretary-General, Committee for the Defence of Human Rights; and Nabilah Usman, an editor, writer and broadcast journalist.

CIAPS Institute Director and Professor of Strategy and Development, Prof. Anthony Kila is expected to deliver the keynote.

The institute’s Manager, Bisola Ojo, in a statement, explained that the programme is part of its efforts to understand and help to improve the world. 

“A lecture like this, is an opportunity to engage with professionals and the public on issues that will soon affect their world.
