Kelvin Jombo Emerges Vanguard’s Serial Entrepreneur of the Year 2023

The MD/CEO of Sublime Industries, Kelvin Jombo Onumah has emerged as Vanguard’s Serial Entrepreneur of the Year 2023.

This was disclosed in a letter made available by the Board of Editors of Vanguard Media Limited during the presentation of the letter to Jombo.

The letter read in part, “We note that you have distinguished yourself as one of the enterprising young business leaders in the country.

“You have nurtured the Sublime Group into becoming one of the notable business conglomerates in the country, with a profound presence in hospitality, manufacturing, real estate, engineering, energy, and oil and gas.”

Under your watch, it continued, the firm has experienced phenomenal growth on account of the quality of its services, and efficiency of its human capital. Today, Sublime Group is a multi-billion Naira company.

“The success of Jombo & Mark Investments Ltd, Sublime Luxury Homes Ltd, Sublime Hotels Ltd, Sublime Industries Ltd, Sublime Equivest Ltd, and Sublime Star Pharmaceutical Co Ltd, among others, attests to your ingenuity and knack for excellence.

“Your feat in business couldn’t have been possible without hard work and sheer determination to succeed. In a society where young persons struggle to succeed, you have exhibited that one can excel irrespective of societal barriers,” Vanguard further stated.

The letter also acknowledged Jumbo as an inspiration to the youths and other Nigerians. “These and many others earned you this prestigious award. Congratulations.”

The philosophy of the prestigious Vanguard Award is to recognise and celebrate Excellence, National Pride, and Service to Humanity.

Jumbo will receive his honour at the awards ceremony that will be held on Friday, May 24 this year at The Convention Centre, Eko Hotels & Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos at 5.00 pm.
